James V. Truett

James V. Truett, 82 of Erlanger, KY passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 13, 2022 at his residence. James was an automotive worker for the Ford Motor Co. and later retired after 35yrs. of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Monroe and Francis (nee: Vaughn) Truett along with his wife Shelbie Jean Truett in 1983. James also was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving children, Kimberly (Bill) Sloan, Charles (Michele) Truett, Barbara Beckman and Michael (Patty) Truett. He also leaves behind his loving grandchildren, Trent, Trevor, Nicholas, Shelbie, Miranda, Nathan, Leeland, Jacob, Ian and great granddaughter, Naomi. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Erlanger, KY. A second visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Bowling Funeral Home, 1704 N. Main St., London, KY 40741 with funeral services to follow on Saturday at 11:00am at Bowling Funeral Home. Burial will be at Cloyd Cemetery in East Bernbstadt, KY.
