James “Jim” Lawrence Rinear, 61, of Union, KY, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 24, 2022.  Jim worked as a car salesman for Honda for about 20 years and was a 1979 graduate of Elder High School. He enjoyed golfing and successfully completed the Flying Pig and 2007 Chicago Marathon, but mostly he enjoyed spending time with his daughters, Olivia and Kylie.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Beverly Rinear; his sister, Tricia Rinear, and his sister-in-law, Mary Lee Rinear.

He leaves his wife of 17 years, Terri Rinear (nee Sucher); his daughters, Olivia and Kylie Rinear; his step-mother, Carole Rinear; and his siblings, Micki (Ralph) Priestle, Sharee Rinear, Denise (Dennis) Rinear, Rick (Lynda) Rinear, Tom (Val) Rinear, Mark (Lisa) Rinear, Jeff (Kelley) Rinear, and Rob (Lynne) Rinear.

Jim also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

A memorial visitation will be on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 10:00AM-1:00PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington, KY. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 1:00PM at the funeral home.
