Gerald L. “ Hutch” Hutchinson, 64 of Erlanger, KY, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY surrounded by his loving family. Hutch was a project manager with Interior Supply, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH. He had an intense love for music and was a phenomenal drummer. He had a great sense of humor, and could always make you laugh, even if you were having a bad day.  He was an avid sports enthusiast, but particularly enjoyed going to and watching UK basketball.  He was easy going and very comfortable to be around.  Everyone who knew him loved him, and felt free to  just drop in at his home for a visit if the light was on.  He would frequent fish fries with numerous friends and family during lent because he loved spending time with his buddies. Hutch will never be forgotten…. One of this world’s great characters. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.… he met no stranger.  Gerald is survived by his loving children, Cory L. (Gabrielle) Hutchinson and Carlie M.(Michael) Bell. He also leaves behind his sister, Barbara A. Fahnle and grandchildren, Peyton, Austin, Rachael, Jackson, Davis, Lucas and soon to be Vera. ,

sorry for your loss

cory and carlie sorry for the loss of your dad, I had the good luck of knowing hutch for 55 years from middle school to high school to college where we roomed together which didn’t help our study habits, played football and baseball together , went to many concerts and camping trips , we watched each other grow up , get married have kids and in hutch’s case grandkids which he was very proud of. I knew the door was always open on Barlett and the light was on. in all those years I don’t think I ever saw him be at a loss for words for he loved to talk. even when we didn’t see each other as often these last few years when we did it was just like the old days. he maybe gone but he will never be forgotten. rest in peace my friend bill rocke
