Fred Burns

,

Dear Karen and family

Jeannine Vonderahe Fortier informed me of Fred’s passing and my sympathy goes to the family. Carrie and my mother, Bertha, were sisters and so Fred’s mom, Grace, was my first cousin. I THINK I met Fred when he came to Carmel, IN to visit his daughter (granddaughter?) who lives off Shelbourne Rd. We exchanged family histories. I just watched the Mass for him and it was truly inspirational. I would love to get the names and birth dates of his grandchildren for the family records, if anyone cares to share them . [email protected], thanks and God Bless!

Our sympathies

Dear Karen, Tonya and Burns family
We have all lost a special person in our lives. Fred was a Godsend to Ron and I during Ron’s recovery from his cruiser accident. He wanted to help us in anyway that he could and he did in a big way along with his many hospital and Cardinal Hill visits. Those visits meant the world to Ronnie and I and they helped cheer Ron up which he needed so badly. If anyone knew Fred, they knew he was a born comedian! He had the nurses in stitches. Rest In Peace sweet friend and God please comfort his family and friends.

Dear Karen and Family,

I am so sorry for your loss, but God knows he suffered enough and he was ready to go to Jesus. I believe he is in heaven and now has only joy, free of pain and sorrow. I loved him as a friend for many years, since the 5th grade at Holy Family. That’s a long, long time. He was a good friend to Paul, and to me. May your faith carry you through these next days, and give you comfort.

Love, Adrianne Helton

Love and Prayers

Aunt Karen,
I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Fred’s illness and passing from Teresa. I have so many fond memories as a child of spending time with all of you at Mamaw’s house. My mother and dad so enjoyed the times you were able to visit with one another in Florida, too.
I am praying for you, Teresa, Grace, Tonya, and Sandra and all of your family. What a blessing to have each other during this time.
Love and prayers,
Donna

Sorry for your loss

As a younger guy I mowed your grass in Lexington and Mr. Burns always took the time to talk with me whenever I saw him. What a nice nice man! I know you all will miss him.
