Deborah “Debbie” “Dot” Gripshover (nee: Dance) of Florence, died at the age of 65, surrounded by loved ones at St. Elizabeth Hospice of Edgewood on June 20th. She was born and raised in the Covington area by her late parents Carl and Dolores Dance along with her two older brothers Dave and Randy. Debbie graduated from Holmes High School and went on to work as an audio visual coordinator for the Hamilton County School Board. She married Bob Gripshover and they spent a wonderful thirty years together until his passing in 2010. Debbie was a big personality, close with her family and friends. She was the life of the party and was good at planning one too. She loved going on vacation and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bob Gripshover. She is survived by her brothers Randy (Mary) Dance and Dave (Sue) Dance; Bob’s 4 sisters including Linda (Vince) Albers; mother-in-law, Patricia Gripshover; many Gripshover nieces and nephews; niece, Gina (Brian) Cooper; nephews Chad (Kari) Dance, Brian and Kevin Dance; many great-nieces and nephews and the many close friends she shared life with. There will be a memorial visitation at St. Barbara Catholic Church on Monday, June 25, 2018 8:30 – 10AM with a memorial mass to follow. Internment will take place at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Williamstown at 2PM that afternoon. Memorial donations can be made in Debbie’s name to St. Elizabeth Hospice of Edgewood 483 S. Loop Rd, Edgewood, KY 41017. Please share your condolences with the family.
