Condolences

Daniel J. Comp, 65, of Villa Hills, KY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Dan retired from Savor Seasonings, where he worked as a food technologist. When Dan had a passion for something, he went all in. Some of those included were cooking, cars, car shows, fishing, UK basketball, Cincinnati Reds Baseball, Cincinnati Bengals, vacationing to Kiawah Island with his family and visiting numerous Kentucky wineries with his wife.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Phyllis Comp; his daughter, Shannon Danielle Comp; his father-in-law: Bob Hinkel; and his sister-in-law, Denise Hinkel Cenedella.

Dan is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Diane Comp (nee Hinkel); his children, Sarah Comp Alexander (Kory) and Adam Comp; his siblings, Jim Comp, Doug (Kelly) Comp, and Lisa Salter; and his sibling-in-laws, Dennis and Donna Hinkel.

He was a proud PawPaw to his beloved grandchildren, Aiden Michael Alexander and Aubrey Mae Alexander, who were the joy of his life.

A Memorial visitation for Daniel will be on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 9:00AM-11:00AM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 11:00AM at the funeral home.
