Beloved wife, mother, sister, granny, and friend, Cindy Kelly left this world unexpectedly and too soon. Cindy was a Registered Nurse and worked in the office of dermatologist Dr. Mitchell Ede. She loved being a nurse, helping other people was her true passion. Cindy also enjoyed reading and a good cup of coffee or glass of wine. Her number one love, enjoyment, and her life’s devotion was her family. She took great pride in being a wife and mother, but especially a granny. She will be missed and loved forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Beloved husband Dan Kelly; children Emily (Jeff) Kelly Deegan, Jake Kelly and Kevin Kelly; “Grandest” Grandchildren, Rory and Sloane; sister Christy Grober; brother Billy (Kathy) Jacobs; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a zillion friends. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, William Pete and Ida Mae Jacobs. A visitation will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 10:00a.m – 11:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Mother of God Catholic Church in Covington, KY. Burial will follow at Mother of God Cemetery with a reception at Covington Catholic High School cafeteria. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Cindy’s name to “The Cindy Kelly Education Fund for Rory and Sloane Deegan” at the BB&T Crestview Hills Branch 111 Lookout Farm Dr., Crestview Hills, KY 41017.

Please leave a message of comfort for the family under the “condolences” tab.

To Cindy’s Family and Professional Family at Dr.Ede’s

Feb 11, 2019
We veteran Thompson patients of Dr. Ede’s are only finding out today of Cindy’s untimely passing as I arrived for our scheduled visit to her professional family at Dr. Ede’s. I watched with curiosity as patients arrived with boxes of food, and cards, never thinking it would be in kindness of Cindy’s death. And, little did we know that it was Cindy whose sister in law works for Dr. Ede as well. What a sad day it was FOR OUR ENTIRE FAMILY on Feb 11, 2019, having been at Dr. Ede’s office. Cindy is definitely being sorely missed at Dr. Ede’s.

Condolences to her family and to her professional family at Dr. Ede’s office,
Penny Thompson and Family

The world lost a sweet soul

To the whole family – We want you to know how saddened we were to hear this news. When someone passes, we always hear how nice they were, but, in this case, it’s true. I never saw Cindy without a smile and kind words to say. She used to babysit us, and even then, she was always positive with all of us! She was such a sweet soul and I hope your memories can carry you through this tough time. Remember that all of you were her joy in life as well, and that she lives on through you. Many hearts are breaking with you, and please know that many thoughts and prayers are with you as well. Love Jane and Dave Topmiller

Sending Our Love and Prayers

So Sad

I am so sad to hear of Cindy’s passing.
I have many happy childhood memories of family gathering’s at Uncle Pete & Aunt Ida’s house. Cindy, cousin Sue Heilemann & myself were all
born in the same year. I last saw Cindy at my brother Ralph’s passing a couple of years ago. I remember how pretty she was & her beautiful smile.
My deepest sympathy.
Barb Elsbernd

So sorry!

To Cindy’s family, I’m so sorry to hear about Cindy and this sudden life change for everyone in your family. Cindy was a beautiful person in side and out. I hold great memories from my childhood with family gatherings with Cindy, Christy and Bill. I can still see the version of Uncle Bill and Aunt Ida at their house and all of the family gathered for a Stauber holiday. When I looked at Cindy I always thought she was so pretty and was and such a thoughtful person. She always had a smile on her face. The last time I spoke with her was when my brother Ralph passed and she looked the same as she did years ago. She always enjoyed my brothers personality and always had nice things to say. Bev Elsbernd

Wishing you comfort

Dan, Emily, Jake, Kevin, Christy, Bill and all the family:
You have my deepest sympathy, and all my support now and forever.
Gaby
