Carolyn Crone
Carolyn Crone, 86, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at St Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. She worked as a Registered Nurse with St Elizabeth for 25 years. Preceded in death by her husband Donald Crone in 2014. Survivors include her Son Gary (Robin) Crone, daughter Donna (Chuck) Bray and daughter Robin (Mark) Schmitt, grandchildren Allison Shepard, Trey Greene, Alex Bray, Chris Bray, Jordan Crone, Shannon Johnson, Dylan Schmitt, Tanner Schmitt, and great-grandchildren Josie and Olivia Shepard, Wyatt and Parker Bray, Artie and Henry Greene and Hazel, Lennon and Iris Johnson. A celebration of life service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to the Boone County Animal Shelter 5643 Idlewild Rd, Burlington, KY 41005. I’m so sorry for your loss. Carolyn was a wonderful woman with a big personality and she will be greatly missed. After my mother moved into Storypoint, Carolyn became her best friend and helped her acclimate. They bonded on such a deep level, and you never saw one without the other. Carolyn was a special person whom we loved dearly, and I’m so thankful my mother was able to experience the kind of friendship that they shared.
