Barbara Ann Boudreau, 71, of Florence, KY passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born April 22, 1952 in Mineola, NY to the late Charles and Irma Bigbie. Barb worked for New Haven Elementary School for many years assisting teaching their preschool classes. She retired from teaching to begin her dream job:  being a grandma.  Her family was her top priority, and her favorite thing to do was play with her seven grandkids.  Barb also attended and was very active in Hebron Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school classes, worked in the nursery, and participated in Bible study. She enjoyed traveling, and her favorite trips were shopping in New York with her sisters, visiting her daughter and her family in California, and taking beach vacations with her daughter, son, and their families in Destin, Florida. Barb also liked to attend craft fairs and go out with her friends to watch live music. She had a generous heart, an unwavering faith, and a fun-loving spirit. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Peter Boudreau, and her grandson, Wells Priddy. Barb is survived by her loving children: Cheryl MacKenzie (Scott), Lindsay Priddy (Clint), and Peter Boudreau (Lauren); her beloved grandchildren: Avery Priddy, Zoë, Scarlett and Amelie MacKenzie, and Beckham, Kiptyn and Weston Boudreau; her sisters: Eileen Pangburn (Len) and Lois Mazza (Tom); and her nephew: Len Pangburn (Lara) and their three children.

Love from Alpha Gamma Delta

Barb was my sorority sister, so much fun and I will never forget her! She was so devoted to her family and especially her grandchildren. We never got that AGD reunion since she was living further away and pretty busy! Thinking of the family and the loss they will experience. She made every day full of laughter and fun times! I am so grateful that we were able to meet and enjoy four wonderful years in college together! We had some great times and they are all in the sister vault!

So many memories

I lived with Barbara during college. One of my best friends. Sooooo many memories. I’m very saddened to hear she has passed away. She lived her best life surrounded by love.
