Arthur Pranger, 93, of Erlanger, KY passed away Saturday evening, November 17, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He was born March 21, 1925 in Covington, Kentucky and served in the Army of the United States during World War II from Normandy, Battle of the Bulge through Czechoslovakia. He started Tonemasters Television Service thanks to the GI Bill, worked for Turfway Park and raised 7 children with his wife, Rose, of 61 years before her passing in 2015. After the war, he became a member of the 86thChemical Mortar Battalion Associaion. His sister, Mary Joan Saalfeld, preceded him in death. Survivors include his brother Ralph Pranger; children Gary (Mary) Pranger of Covington, KY, Patty (Steve) Enzweiler of Florence, KY, Chris (Denise) Pranger of Richmond, VA, John Pranger of Burlington, KY, Mary (Jim) Brown of Erlanger, KY, Larry (Michelle) Pranger of Independence, KY and Donna (Bob) Gurren of Erlanger, KY. and 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 10:00AM at St. John Church in Covington, KY. Burial at St. John Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to St. Elizabeth Foundation and Hospice Fund 1 Medical Village Dr. Edgewood, KY 41017 or the charity of donor’s choice.
