Aldon Wade Eveland, 5 of Florence, passed away on August 18, 2023. Aldon was one of the most beautiful boys you would meet! He was very active and always on the move! He was a world-class confetti maker and would tear up anything from pillows and tortillas to bananas peels! Aldon was always hungry and if he finished eating, anyone’s plate was fair game! He also loved watching all the Disney movies, but especially loved Toy Story. Aldon also had a wonderful brother, Wyatt, who always looked out for him and you would never see one without the other! He always had his own special way to find his own place within his family!

Aldon is survived by his mom: Jenna (Jeff Mcelfresh) Brock, dad: Chris “Booty” (Sydney) Eveland, grandparents: Tim and Melissa Brock, Mike Eveland and Deidre Parker-Eveland (preceded 1996), siblings: Sierra Eveland, Alexa Mcelfresh, Macy Mcelfresh, Landen Jolly, Brennen Jolly, Xander Brown, Cash Keeton, Rainey Eveland, Mazzy Eveland, Phoenix Eveland, and his Irish twin: Wyatt, aunts and uncles: Connor and Megan Brock, Kyle and Emily Chevalier, Jeremey and Susan Eveland and many cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 11am to 1pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Erlanger. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1pm. Aldon will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. Reception will follow at Erlanger’s Lion’s Club from 2pm to 8pm. Online condolences can be left www.LinnemannFuneralHomes.com.

Praying on the family

We can’t even fathom the grief that the family is experiencing. We are praying for the Jenna, Tim, Melissa and the entire family for eventual peace during the most difficult time a family can endure and that’s the passing of a child. No one can empathize the burden of sorrow you bear but hoping God can assuage your suffering with his grace and the love of your family and extended family.

No Word

There are no words to ease the grief you are feeling…. I wish there were and I wish I knew what they were. What I will
Promise you is that I am praying God will supply a grace that only he can and he will carry you through this difficult time.
