Albert Carl Czirr of Burlington, KY, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, June 25 at the age of 79.    He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many, including family and neighborhood dogs.  Carl worked at Johnny’s Toys as a store manager and Procter & Gamble as a paper mill technician.  He served in the Coast Guard reserves from 1964 – 1970. He was an active member of the Dutchman’s Rod and Gun Club, the Hut Athletic Club and devoted supporter of the Southern Ohio Dog and Game Protective Association annual stag. He was a parishioner at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
Carl loved fishing, boating, model trains, aircraft, photography, swisher sweets, Beam & Coke, the University of Kentucky Wildcats and playing the lottery.  His infectious smile, generous heart and quick humor made him loved by many.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents Mildred and Carl Czirr and brother-in-law Boris Wilson.
Lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 55 years, Bonnie Czirr; his daughter Carrie (Ken) Wetstein, sons Andy (Allison) Czirr, Chris (Amber) Czirr and Curt (Marty) Czirr; his grandchildren, Taylor Czirr, Madi Czirr, Carter Czirr, Curtis Czirr, Cooper Czirr, Caitlyn Wetstein and Chloe Wetstein; and his siblings, Nancy Wilson, Greg (Karen) Czirr, Mike (Barb) Czirr, Phil (Kim) Czirr, Tim (Linda) Czirr.
Carl also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, friends and beloved furry companions, Minnie, Louie, Noah, Dixie and Izzy.
A private memorial will be held later this summer at Dale Hollow Lake.
