Thomas “Yatz” Runge

Thomas “Yatz” Runge, 97, of Florence, Kentucky passed away peacefully in his sleep at Mt. Washington Care Center, Cincinnati, Ohio on Wednesday. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marge; son, Dan “Butch”; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Vasseur; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He became a disabled WWII Army Veteran after serving as a Sergeant in Company C, 115th Infantry, 29th division. He received 2 purple hearts, bronze star with oak leaf clusters, as well as various other medals while in services to his country. A visitation will be held Sunday,  March 18th at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger 2PM – 4PM with prayers to follow. Burial will be on Monday the 19th at St. Mary Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell at 10AM.
