Sharon A. Matheny

Sharon A. Matheny, 61, of Florence, KY, passed away on January 1, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY. Sharon was a homemaker and was one of the most kind-hearted people you could find. In her free time, she enjoyed puzzles and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Gwin Roaden. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Robert Matheny III of Florence, KY; her daughters, Charlene (Buster) Cuneo of Burlington, KY, and Karen (Bob) Hill of Independence, KY; her step-children, Robert (Jacki) Matheny IV of Burlington, KY, and Amber (Kevin) Flerlage of Burlington, KY; her brother, Ray (Melissa) Roaden of Dry Ridge, KY; and her nephew, Jody (Nina) Roaden of Dry Ridge, KY. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Rachel, Thomas, Zach, Alyssa, Austin, Riley, Addyson, and Holly; her great-grandchildren, Rebecca and AJ; and her great-nephew, Dakota. Visitation will be on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 10:00AM-12:00PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington, KY. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:00PM at the funeral home.
