Ruby “RubyDoo” King, 89, of Erlanger, KY, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Rosedale Green surrounded by her family. Ruby worked for St. Elizabeth Hospital for 17 years in the Central Supply department. She enjoyed Native American culture, and she had an affinity for dogs, wolves, Western shows, and she was an avid bowler. Most importantly she was, a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Ruby would always enjoy supporting her grandchildren in their various extra curricular activities. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Ed” King; her siblings, Louise Bearden, Gene Conley, and Christine Rector. Ruby is survived by her children: Jerry (Debbie) King, Kriss (Mary Jo) King, Allen King, Diane King, and Tenia (Clint) Manuel. She also leaves behind her 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several other close family members. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 10:30AM-12:30PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:30PM at the funeral home. Prayers for Ruby’s family

So sorry to hear about Ruby / worked with her for several years at St Eliz/she was a good friend & mentor to many of us in SPD Dept/ still have a chair she gave me over 30 years ago/ she always talked about her children & how they were her life/ Talked to her about 4 years ago when I needed to get Kriss ‘s help / hadn’t talked to her in years after we had moved to Tennessee But was like we had spoken last week that’s the way she was/ I know she will be missed by many / Prayers


Sorry for your loss!

I’m so sorry to hear of Ruby’s passing. She was a great friend to my mother Nell Fox, at Atria. I was able to visit her after my moms passing when she was at Madonna Manor. She was a wonderful person and I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
