Ralph G. Weckenbrock, son of the late Herbert and Loretta (Hautz) Weckenbrock entered into Gods waiting arms Saturday April 1st, 2017, at home surrounded by his loving family. Age 87. Ralph was a proud graduate of Elder High School, Class of 1947 and served his country in the Navy.

He retired as a Master Electrician for General Electric and was a member of IBEW-212.

Ralph was proceeded in death by his brother Herbert, and daughter in law Cathy nee (Williams).

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joanne nee(McPherson), his sons Greg (Colleen) Weckenbrock and Mark (Barb) Weckenbrock. Daughter Lora (Tim) Saylor, brother George Weckenbrock, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Ralph’s greatest joy came from time spent with his family and friends. He devoted many hours coaching his sons in Knothole baseball and was an active Covington Catholic Booster.

Ralph loved the Lord, going to Mass and  served as a Eucharistic Minister.

Ralph was a strong, silent type who led by example and will be missed deeply by all who were blessed to know him. His favorite response was “You got that right” and God surely did when he created Ralph!

Visitation will be Thursday April 6th, 2017 from 4-6 at St  Pius X Church, 348 Dudley Rd. Edgewood, KY 41017 with Mass immediately following. Entombment will be Friday at Mother of God Cemetery, Covington, Ky.
