Joseph “Joe” Greis, 77, of Petersburg, KY, formerly Ft. Mitchell, died on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Florence. He was an owner of Greis Wholesale Grocer in Cincinnati, OH. Joe had a wonderful sense of humor and love for people. He helped operate the Petersburg Food Pantry. His wife Susan and sister Judy preceded him in death. He is survived by his son Eric Greis (Crystal) of Ft. Mitchell and daughter Ami Paeth (Christian) of Santa Claus, IN; grandchildren Mina and Parker Greis and Ella, Sophie, and Xavier Paeth; also brothers Leo Greis of Ft. Mitchell, Bob Greis of Orlando, FL, John Greis of Monticello, FL and Jeff Greis of Walton, KY; sisters Louise Fritz of Crestview Hills, Barbara Hierholzer of Orlando, FL, Verna Hagerty, Sue Lohre, Rose Klier, and Michelle Stallmeyer of Ft. Mitchell, KY. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 5-8pm at Linnemann Family Funeral Homes, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday December 19, 2017 at  10am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2409 Dixie Highway, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017.
