John Charles Rymarquis entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 8th, 2018 at Saint Elizabeth Hospital surrounded by his adoring family. He is preceded in death by his father, James Rymarquis and his sister Gina Rymarquis. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Denise Rymarquis; his children, Alex Rymarquis, Alyse (John) McFadden, Amanda (Josh) Deisler, his two grandchildren, Oliver and Remi McFadden; his mother, Faith Rymarquis; his siblings, Steve (Lisa) Rymarquis, Tina (Keith) Stafford, Tracy (Jeff) Brauer, Terrie Bradford, Kevin Rymarquis, and many close friends and family. John was born and raised in Northern Kentucky. He graduated from Lloyd High School and went on to earn a degree in Computer Science from Northern Kentucky University. He worked in the IT department at The International Paper Company for 30 years. He met and fell in love with Denise Brauer in 1977 where they both worked at McDonalds. John will always be remembered as having a sun tan, a tool in his hand and a work ethic like no other. He belonged in the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating and traveling to his mother’s lake house. He always loved his family trips to Florida to visit his mother and father in law, Pat and Bob Brauer who aptly nicknamed him McGyver. His memory will live on through his children. He taught them everything they know about how to change their oil, the value of a dollar, and the proper way to change a tire. These invaluable lessons will be passed down for generations just as John had hoped they would. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 9:30AM-12:00PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, KY. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:00PM at the funeral Home. There will be a celebration of life reception on Tuesday evening from 5:30PM-8:00PM at Grace Fellowship Church: 9379 Gunpowder Rd, Florence, KY 41042. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The Point Arc of Northern Kentucky 104 West Pike St. Covington, KY 41011 or the charity of the donor’s choice. Comfort

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your beloved husband, father and friend, John. No words could ever convey the pain of your heart, but our loving Creator and Heavenly Father does know. He has promised that very soon this enemy, death, and all the things that bring our hearts pain will be a distant memory-Hosea 13:14. Until then please find comfort in knowing that “He (God) is close to the broken hearted and those crushed in spirit He saves”-Psalm 34:18. It is my hope that these passages along with your loving memory of John, comfort your heart and give you a measure of peace during this most difficult time.
