Helen Benson, 97, passed away Monday January 1, 2018 at Lebanon Health Care Center in Lebanon OH. She worked as a Beautician for many years, was a longtime member of Southside Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel. Preceded in death by her husband Andrew Benson in 2007 and sister Christine Estes. Survivors include her daughter Donna (Don) Merland of Lebanon OH, sister Christine Estes of Springfield OH, grandchildren Dawn Merland, Don (Julie) Merland, great grandchildren Danielle O’Dell, Jessica Merland, Jeffrey Merland and Caleb Bowling. Also surviving is great great granddaughter Gemma Rich and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday January 6, 2018 from 12pm to 1pm with funeral services to follow at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. Mausoleum entombment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger. Memorials can be made to the Charity of Donors Choice. Online condolences can be sent at www.linnemannfuneralhomes.com
