Fred Dietrich Jr.

Fred A. Dietrich, 74, of Villa Hills, KY passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Fred grew up in the White Oak area in Cincinnati before attending the University of Cincinnati where he obtained his Masters Degree. Fred moved to Schaumburg, IL where he lived and worked for over 30 years. He attended St. Joseph Parish in Crescent Springs, and enjoyed the community his church family had created. He was preceded in death by his parents: Fred A. Sr. and Anna Louise Dietrich, his brothers: Art and Bob Dietrich, and his son: Mark Dietrich. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 51 years: Penny Dietrich (nee: Schroder), his loving children: Michael Dietrich of Chicago, IL, and Jeff Dietrich (Gregg) of Fort Mitchell, KY, his beloved granddaughters: Julia, Ashley, and Courtney Dietrich of Fort Mitchell, KY, his dear siblings: Tom Dietrich Sr. (Jackie) of Cincinnati, OH, Donna Giles (Jay) of Cincinnati, OH, David Dietrich (Bev) of Cincinnati, OH, Bill Dietrich (Debbie) of West Chester, KY, Jim Dietrich (Sharon) of Mansfield, TX, Ken Dietrich (Jane) of Cincinnati, OH, and Carolyn Toth (Joe) of Clearwater, FL, his sister-in-law: Brenda Dietrich of Jasper, IN, and many other in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial visitation will be held for Fred on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 11am until 1pm at St. Joseph Parish, 2470 Lorraine Ct, Crescent Springs, KY 41017. A memorial Mass will be held following the visitation at 1pm at the Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Joseph Church (Memo: Assist a Student Program) at 2470 Lorraine Ct, Crescent Springs, KY 41017, or to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105, or to the Charity of your Choice.
