My mother Violet and Eugene were brother and sister. I’ll never forget going to his house growing up and getting to know his children (My cousins) and his wife (Aunt Carol). My mom used to tell me as a mason, he could build anything, I think that’s true. But I think the most endearing, lasting thing he built was a loving family. He’s someone who always had time for you. If it was in his power to help you, or teach you, believe me he would. He and Aunt Carol were married longer than I’ve been alive. I always admired both of them for that. I will remember him always. God speed Uncle Gene, you’ve earned your rest. Love, your nephew Doug
