Edwin J. Vogel, 69 of Hebron, KY. died at University of Cincinnati Hospital. He was an engineer with Duke Energy in Cincinnati for 35 years. Ed was an active member of Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, St. Vincent de Paul Society,  Knights of Columbus and the Diocesan Cursillo Movement. He was preceded in death by his first wife Susan Bohrer Vogel; parents Edwin and Henrietta Vogel and brother-in law, Jim Wilson. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Barbara Vogel of Hebron, KY; daughters Theresa (Charles) Iker of Cincinnati, OH, Michele (Robert)Dix of Delaware, OH, Patricia(Todd) Neal of Marietta, GA; sons Joe(Jamie) Vogel of Cincinnati, OH, Bob (Stephanie)Vogel of Hebron, KY; sister Mary Ann Wilson of Cincinnati, OH; and 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 3-6 P.M. at Linnemann Family Funeral Homes and Event Center, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. A Funeral mass will be held Monday, June 26, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 5876 Veterans Way Burlington, KY.
