Edgewood — Donald (Pete) Glick , age 74, died Monday, January 1, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, after a lengthy battle with Kennedy’s Disease (SBMA).

He leaves his wife of 20 years, Betsy (Thayer); his son Brad, daughter Cindy (Sean) , stepsons Sam (Sarah) and Alec (Stephanie) Robinette,  grandchildren Alexa, Logan, Isaac, Ila, Cyrus and Zachary, great grandson Ryder, siblings – Roseanne McAllister of Louisville, Ky,  Ralph Glick (Mary Lou), Margie Rouse (Tom) of Greensboro, GA, BJ Stegman (Tom) of Edgewood, Ed Glick (Joni) of Edgewood, KY, Dorothy (Glenn) Scroggins and many close friends.

Born and raised in Latonia, the son of Roy and Helen Glick, Pete was a 1961 graduate of Holy Cross High School and went on to complete a BS degree from University of Cincinnati and Masters degree from Xavier University.

Having a life-long interest in cars, he was a founding member of Squires Auto Club. He spent many years actively involved with the Christian Awakening Program of the Diocese of Covington and the Cursillo Movement.

Pete’s reach went far beyond his wheel chair, seen so often in Edgewood and surrounding neighborhoods – he was known and loved by many

Pete will be honored on Saturday, January 6, Linnemann’s Funeral Home, Burlington, KY: 12-2:00PM Visitation, followed by service and reception.
