Billy Clay Cook, 60, of Union, KY lost his battle with cancer on Monday, August 7, 2017. As the Owner and President of C. Cook Enterprises, his talent, creativity and his ability to “see” what others could not gave us some of the most beautifully restored vintage cars and outstanding hot rod builds. His custom machine parts are considered works of art. He takes to heaven secrets and a vision we hope others can aspire to in his honor. Clay is survived by his parents Billy and Mary Ann Cook, Union, his fiancée Melissa Signore, and his sisters Kerry (Alan) Moore of Knoxville, TN, Connie Norberg of Florence, KY and Christy (Steve) Schutter of Lawrenceville, GA and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Clay’s Life will be held August 19th at Receptions Hall, 1379 Donaldson Rd, Erlanger, KY from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions are suggested to Lloyd Memorial Alumni Association, 450 Bartlett Ave., Erlanger, KY 41018 or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Great Friend from John Leming

I just found this out – almost one year later – Clay and I were great friends in high school – we attended a charity function for several years at R.A. Jones company, and did many nightly work events at his dads garage in Elsmere. He and Brian Beagle and I were great friends.
Clays favorite cigar was a Grenidier, we smoked many of them together. I miss spending those old days with him, but time and age got in the way! I will always remember his green 53 ford truck and the whiskey barrel! Clay I will have a beer and a grenidier for you today!

John Leming

My friend and teacher

Words can’t describe my sadness of your passing. I’m grateful to have known you and learned some much from you. Thank you for being so kind to me, and being a great friend to this young man. I’ll always have you in my day to day thoughts, and my work. Rip my friend.

To Bill & Mary

Sorry for your loss. Mom and I will be praying for you and your family during this trying time. Love Debbie Zeis

Truly Missed

Clay was one of the most talented people I had ever met. He was also a great businessman, and we felt truly blessed to have known Clay.
